Call for Papers

The College of Engineering – Cihan University -Erbil welcomes you to the 2nd International Conference on Architectural and Civil Engineering 2020 (ICAES-2020)which will be held from 15th – 16th April 2020, Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq . This conference intends to be the global forum for researchers, educators, academicians and engineers to present and discuss recent innovations and new techniques in Engineering technology, Civil Engineering and Architecture. The Conference will provide a great opportunity for national and international specialists in the different fields of Civil and Architectural engineering to share experiences, innovations, achievements and knowledge. It will bring together academics, researchers, and practicing professionals with the aim of bridging the gap between theory and practice in all engineering aspects. We look forward to welcoming you to Erbil – Iraq at (ICCAES -2020).

Objective

The objective of the conference is to provide a platform for civil and architectural engineers and scientists to discuss and share recent research findings in multidiscipline in these engineering fields. Professionals, experts, and scholars from various engineering disciplines will be invited to share their experiences and discuss opportunities for research engagements. The conference discusses practical and theoretical results which that make a fundamental contribution to the development of Architectural and Civil Engineering.

Publication

All accepted abstracts for the International Conference on Architecture and Civil Engineering 2020, will be published in the conference abstract book with an associated ISBN

All full papers sent for conference proceedings will be subjected to a double-blind reviewing process and will be published electronically with an ISSN in the proceedings with a DOI Number .

Accepted papers published in conference proceedings will be submitted to Google Scholar, Scopus and Thomson Reuters for possible indexing.

Conference Venue

The conference will be held at the College of Engineering –Cihan University -Erbil which is located at the Centre of the Erbil city about 320 km to the North of Baghdad Capital.

SUBMISSION

Abstracts can be submitted between February 1^st and February 15^th. The abstract should be written in English, no more than 300 words; 

Publication Instructions

The full paper in the reviewing stage only should be sent in Microsoft-Word format and considering the following: 

1. No more than 200 words abstract;
2. Five keywords in alphabetical order;
3. The entire document should be in Times New Roman 12 pts and 1.5 spacing;
4. The number of pages should not exceed 15 pages with the references;
5. To make the reviewing process easier, the line should be numbered;
6. All tables should be types with plain style (i.e. No colored cells and other styles);
7. Figures size should be appropriate with the page size;
8. Authors should check similarity (plagiarism) to be within limit (20%) to avoid delay in the reviewing process.
9. The journal template will be provided along with the reviewer’s comments and required corrections to be applied in the revised version of the paper.
